MS Student Department of Bioengineering Curriculum Vitae
Biographical Sketch
My name is Thomas and I’m a Master’s student in Bioengineering here at CU Anschutz. I joined the Magin lab at the beginning of 2020 and am working with our custom biomaterials to create 3D alveolar scaffolds that will provide a more physiologically accurate environment for researching fibrotic diseases. These scaffolds will grant new insights into the progression of fibrotic lung disease and allow for the development of custom, patient-specific treatment plans. I genuinely enjoy the work I do, and knowing that it will someday help people who suffer from these diseases is truly rewarding. When I’m not working in the lab, I enjoy exploring the great city of Denver and taking advantage of all the Front Range has to offer.
