Biographical Sketch
I received both my BS and MS in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Vermont, and I recently joined the Magin Lab to pursue my PhD in Bioengineering in August 2021. I am extremely interested in developing models that help researchers better understand how cellular behaviors are affected by imposing different mechanical variables onto the cells. In the Magin Lab, I will be working on differentiating iPSCs with stiffness tunable 3D hydrogels in a dynamic manner to produce mature pulmonary epithelial cells and model idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Aside from lab work, I look forward to exploring Colorado’s hikes, trails, and scenery. Additionally, I love to travel, watch medical tv shows, and cook in my free time.
